The design planned is to create smart tech that gets to know you as the unique person you are.  It will learn all of your personal stories, engage with your communication, images, videos and conversations.  It will also be filled with all of the knowledge available in traditional psychology journals and the DSM-5. 

Over time the host will compare and contrast user experience and make this data available to your own unit, to continue its learning and ability to help you.

Combining your personal, other user, and scientific research data, along with the process of reprogramming negative belief systems, will help its patients use a self-assessment tool that provides feedback, recommendations, and instructions.

Stress is all around us.

Modern society in the USA exposes its residents to many pressures everyday from traffic congestion to juggling family and work responsibilities. Layer on top of daily stress personal issues with family or friends, crushing debt and/or political division. 

In addition, our upbringing whether highly protective or neglected produces a worldview that requires adaptation to, to be able to successfully bond in relationships, adding more stress to life.  

Finally, we inherit DNA from our parents that influences our risk of disease so it stands to reason that each of us is also a vessel for historical family traits and traumas that also affects our well-being.

As a result, stress-induced illness is not far down the road as scientific research has proven.  Personal Story Modification addresses each of these to improve quality of life and health.

Everyone needs mental healthcare.

Let’s start by describing what mental healthcare is.  It’s a process of examination, testing, diagnosis and treatment. Sometimes this is to prescribe medicine; sometimes it’s to determine life/living dysfunction.  This can mean everything from the inability to determine right from wrong to phobias that prevent engagement with others. It also means the average person who can’t feel love, or is unable to keep a job or has regular fits of rage, can use help. 

So why are many people reticent to participate in a mental healthcare?  The stigma.  “If I go to see a shrink, it automatically means I’m defective.”  This is the first step in accepting help.  We are all defective, and it’s okay; it’s a human quality that actually provides our uniqueness. 

Change isn’t always comfortable but it’s required to be truly happy.  

Healing from trauma, adapting to life stresses for a better life, and experiencing happiness requires a life-long commitment to personal growth and change.  This path requires regular check-ups; observation, just like in physical healthcare, not wait until you break.

Personal Story Modification designed to be continuous, life-long.  It’s roots date back 36 years to Empathology. This practice utilized Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) to “ask the body questions.”  18 years and thousands of clients, and many anecdotal stories of profound personal healing, Day left her practice to put her own personal healing to work, focused in the business world, particularly on Internet video.

Personal Story Modification is now her legacy, wanting to leave this behind for others in this non-profit organization. Along with that, she will be developing a new method using sensors, software, AI and machine learning to create a self-examination method and modification of personal stories that limit quality of life. The research underway will scientifically measure results.  Volunteers can be involved in testing for no cost.

Alexandrea Lauren Day spent 18 years as a counselor successfully applying the methodology of Personal Story Modification with clients. Following, Day spent 18 years in online video and software development for video management, including providing direction on user interfaces for video, with patents added to her name. Day, through this non-profit organization, I Affirm, is scientifically proving the benefits of her belief system change methodology with software, to identify and modify self-harming belief systems using AI, machine learning and/or virtual reality.
